The Sandbox is a community-driven platform where creators can monetize virtual lands, voxel assets & gaming experiences on the blockchain.
Map scanning didn't help customers find clear land information. The lack of a filtering system made locating what they were looking for hard. Land details were often cluttered or irrelevant, making it tough to understand the land value.
We researched, analyzed, and mapped previous customer experiences to improve the filter system and land details page. We then brainstormed, prototyped, and tested potential solutions with customers. Based on the test results, we selected the best solution to be implemented by the devs.
We have the opportunity to integrate motion into the company's mindset as a concept to enhance the existing design. After all the work done, conversion rates improved by 3% (β), and the bounce rate on the map decreased by 60% (β).
We enhanced the existing design by introducing motion and interactions to streamline the land auction process and provide detailed information about the available lands.
